Support for self-harm and emotional regulation

Our science-backed, compassion-led training and resources are helping schools, organisations and parents change the conversation around self-harm.

Hi, I’m Beth

I founded Lovely Messy Humans after studying Zoology, followed by 25 years working in sustainability and landing on the belief that we can’t change systems without first understanding ourselves.

I retrained as a Resilience Coach, became certified in Havening Techniques and embarked on a journey to learn all that I could all about the human nervous system and tools for emotional regulation.

  • Training for schools and organisations

Workshops and talks for schools and organisations focused on understanding the nervous system and its role in motivation, emotional regulation and resilience.

  • Advice for young people and families

Insights and talks for young people, parents and carers on emotional regulation, resilience, motivation and nervous system health.

  • Coaching for Individuals and groups

Neuroscience-based coaching and Havening Techniques to achieve personal goals by working with the nervous system and addressing barriers to growth.
